Agilent Technologies is hiring a Global Strategic Account Manager to accelerate sales growth and establish Agilent as the preferred lab partner for key global customers. In this cross-functional role, you will be an integral part of the Strategic Customer Program team, driving the adoption of Agilent's enterprise solutions and building relationships with external thought-leaders and executives.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute an overall 'One Agilent' strategy to drive total company growth and introduce broader enterprise solutions to strategic customers.
- Partner with local sales teams to improve organizational competency and effectiveness.
- Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to become the customers' partner of choice.
- Initiate innovative business development and major account strategy concepts.
- Lead the development of high-impact strategic projects to achieve key performance measures.
- Act as a liaison between local Sales, Solutions Units, and Support Delivery teams to exceed customer expectations.
- Manage complex global negotiations to deliver the best value for both customers and Agilent.
- Collaborate across the business to translate customer requirements into effective statements.
- Partner with customers to leverage insights that boost productivity, sharpen analytical accuracy, and improve lab economics using Agilent's full solution range.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology or a related field.
- 10+ years in a sales-based role with growing levels of responsibility.
- Experience in a range of areas including service delivery, informatics, laboratory productivity services, consumables, compliance/regulatory consulting, biopharma, and financial modeling.
- Demonstrated forefront achievement in cross-functional organizations in customer-facing roles.
- Proven track record of successfully applying a customer-focused, consultative sales approach to drive exceptional results.
- Global account management and enterprise sales skills, including selling and solving problems at the executive level.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel greater than 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
- Project management experience.
- In-depth skills acquired through advanced training, study, experience, and internal recognition in a specialty.

Benefits & Compensation
- Eligible for bonus, stock, and benefits.
- Compensation of $216,000.00 - $432,000.00/yr USD in the US, or $213,017.00 - $400,838.00/yr CAD in Canada.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in the US or Canada.
