Unknown Company is hiring a General Service Technician (Montgomery, AL)

Circle K is hiring a General Service Technician in Montgomery, AL to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment, from fuel systems to HVAC, in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You'll Do

• Maintain gasoline-related equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Test leak detectors and product lines to ensure safety and compliance.
• Facilitate repairs by contacting service vendors for necessary materials.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain cash registers, money order machines, and safes through troubleshooting, repair, and reprogramming.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Install, repair, and service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules and restore faulty HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Repair and replace doors, plumbing, and tiles; perform painting as needed.
• Maintain gas pumps by changing nozzles, hoses, splashguards, filters, and display boards.
• Ensure operation of refrigeration equipment by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining walk-in coolers, novelty freezers, refrigerators, and fountains.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance field.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, and use hand/electric carts, power tools, and hand tools.
• Ability to crouch, crawl, use a ladder, and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently in a high priority, confidential, demanding business environment.

Nice to Have

• High school diploma or GED.
