About the Role

Samsung Electronics America seeks an Assistant Manager, Accounts Receivable to maximize financial health and secure stable financial conditions for our operations. Based in Dubai, you will play a key role in managing receivables, overseeing import/export documentation, and handling Letter of Credit processes.

What You'll Do

  • Maximize financial health by ensuring compliance with rules and processes.
  • Secure stable financial conditions through cross-checking and inspection of outstanding receivables.
  • Conduct prompt follow-ups to receive due payments.
  • Support the export process by providing documents quickly and accurately.
  • Prevent customs clearance delays and risks through pre-check and post-management of import/export documentation.
  • Manage accounts receivable tasks, including account master management, credit checks, and security management.
  • Clear accounts receivable by matching against incoming payments, down payment posting, and AR/AP offset.
  • Handle invoicing and documentation for sales support by understanding import/export requirements and procedures.
  • Manage Letters of Credit, prepare documents accurately, and collect payment from banks.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
  • 5-7 years of experience in AR collection via direct remittance and under trade instruments like Letters of Credit.
  • 5-7 years of experience in AR reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in preparing AR aging reports and analyzing billing reports.
  • Experience independently handling export documentation, specifically for GCC countries.
