Sally Beauty Holdings, LLC is hiring a Full Service Leader to coach, mentor, and develop Salon Sales Consultants (SBCs). In this role, you will deliver on divisional goals and contribute to achieving day-to-day objectives.
What You'll Do
- Establish and communicate sales and promotion goals for Salon Business Consultants.
- Plan and conduct sales meetings, including logistics, participants, presenters, and content.
- Identify customers with key account potential and implement a development plan.
- Maintain productive relationships with manufacturers and schedule their representatives.
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to SBCs in the execution of their responsibilities.
- Travel with SBCs 3-4 days per week to assess customer relationships and provide feedback on selling skills.
- Visit or call customers to gauge service levels and proactively identify problems.
- Ensure education events achieve maximum participation through effective promotion.
- Schedule adequate manufacturer education events and support for salons and SBCs.
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors and the company via meetings, calls, and email.
- Monitor and analyze employee performance, ensuring alignment with policies and standards.
- Conduct performance appraisals, reinforce good performance, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Resolve problems between SBCs, stores, and manufacturers.
- Manage territories by re-assigning accounts and re-shaping geographic coverage.
- Complete periodic sales, activity, and status reports.
What We're Looking For
- One year of experience supervising sales or operations employees.
- Four years of direct sales experience.
- Ability to travel, including overnights and weekends.
- A reliable means of transportation sufficient to visit client locations and carry large quantities of product.
- Personal vehicle liability coverage that meets corporate minimum requirements.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business.
Work Mode
This is a local-city position open to candidates in Denver, Colorado (CO), Phoenix, Arizona (AZ), and Salt Lake City, Utah (UT). It requires regular local travel and client site visits.
