What You'll Do
As a Major Account Manager, you will oversee a defined set of 12 to 15 enterprise clients in the Boston metro region, guiding them through digital transformation by aligning Arista’s technology solutions with their business goals. You’ll build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives, ensuring long-term success and account growth.
You’ll develop and execute tailored account strategies based on ongoing business reviews, identifying opportunities across hybrid cloud, data center, campus, and AI-driven networking environments. By working closely with systems engineers and technical partners, you’ll craft solutions that reduce total cost of ownership and deliver measurable value.
Demand generation is a key component of the role. You’ll organize and lead customer-facing events such as technology forums, lunch-and-learns, and networking gatherings to expand visibility and engagement. You’ll also coordinate with marketing peers to refine outreach strategies and share best practices across the sales organization.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in a Major Account Manager or similar sales position, with a history of exceeding targets
- Proven ability to sell data center infrastructure solutions to enterprise clients
- Strong technical understanding of networking architectures and the ability to articulate complex solutions
- Experience engaging with senior decision-makers and navigating enterprise procurement processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Background selling Software-Driven Cloud Networking platforms
- Familiarity with high-performance data center systems, campus networks, Ultra Mass Wireless WI-FI, VeloCloud SD-WAN, and AI Cluster Networking
- Knowledge of competitive offerings and evolving networking trends
