What You'll Do
Translate and proofread technical documents from English into Simplified Chinese (China), focusing on regulatory content within the CTD framework. Ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry standards for clients in the insurance and medical benefits sectors. Deliver polished, client-ready materials by following project guidelines and feedback from management.
Collaborate remotely with project managers and follow direction from supervising staff to maintain workflow efficiency. Handle sensitive documentation with professionalism and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Simplified Chinese (China), with strong command of grammar, spelling, and formal writing conventions
- Specialized knowledge in insurance, medical benefits, or related domains
- Background in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Proven experience translating regulatory or pharmaceutical documentation
- One of the following: a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies with formal training; two years of translation experience plus a college degree; five years of professional translation work without a degree; or a government-issued translation certification
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the structure and terminology of CTD submissions
- Technical understanding of CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) content

Compensation
Applicants must submit their proposed best rate per word for translation and hourly rate for MTPE (Machine Translation Post-Editing) in USD, included directly in their CV.
