What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementations for global clients, from initial planning through stabilization, with full ownership of project outcomes. Design and configure solutions across multiple Financial modules, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements across regions.
Conduct discovery sessions to uncover business needs, recommend process improvements, and guide clients on best practices. Oversee testing, manage scope and timelines, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues impacting delivery. Act as a trusted advisor during sales discussions, scoping future engagements based on technical and functional expertise.
Mentor junior consultants, share knowledge through formal and informal channels, and contribute to organizational learning. Identify opportunities to enhance deployment efficiency and advance internal tools and methodologies. Communicate client feedback and lessons learned to improve service delivery and team performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years in consulting roles focused on Workday Financials implementations or post-production support
- Deep expertise in Workday Core Financials, Security, and Reporting, plus at least two additional modules such as Procurement, Expenses, FDM, or Customer Billing
- Proven experience leading large-scale, concurrent projects through all phases, from scoping to go-live
- Strong understanding of global financial regulations and statutory compliance within Workday
- Ability to manage project scope, risks, and stakeholder communication with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in remote environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with cross-functional integrations in Workday
- Willingness to travel up to 5% annually
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize competing demands, and maintain high attention to detail under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized experience in Workday FDM and P2P modules
- Familiarity with tax configurations in Workday, particularly for European markets
