Lead complex Workday Financials projects across international markets, serving as the primary expert from initial scoping to post-implementation support. You will design and configure solutions across multiple modules, ensuring alignment with client goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end implementation of Workday Financials, including discovery, design, testing, and deployment, for large-scale, concurrent projects
- Advise clients on process optimization, system capabilities, and compliance across diverse regions, incorporating statutory and reporting standards
- Facilitate client workshops to define business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and guide decision-making
- Oversee project scope, timelines, and quality assurance, proactively identifying risks and resolving issues that impact delivery
- Mentor junior consultants through coaching, knowledge sharing, and structured feedback to strengthen team capability
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure seamless integration across Workday modules and business functions
- Contribute to sales efforts by scoping engagements and presenting technical expertise during client discussions
- Drive innovation by refining deployment methods, improving tools, and sharing insights through formal and informal channels
- Uphold high standards of client satisfaction, communication, and accountability across all project phases
Qualifications
Candidates must bring 6+ years of hands-on consulting experience in Workday Financials, with proven leadership in full lifecycle implementations. Expertise in Workday Core Financials, Security, and Reporting is required, along with proficiency in at least two additional modules such as Procurement, Expenses, Projects, or FDM.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential. You must thrive in a remote environment, manage competing priorities independently, and maintain precision under tight deadlines. Advanced Excel proficiency and experience leading global teams are expected.
Preferred candidates will demonstrate deep experience in FDM and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) configurations, as well as familiarity with tax-related implementations in complex regions like Europe.
