TD Insurance is seeking a Financial Planner for our Shelbourne Plaza location. This role focuses on providing mass affluent investing clients with comprehensive financial planning and advice. You will be responsible for relationship management and business development to help clients meet their financial goals.
What You'll Do
- Identify client's life and financial goals, provide comprehensive reviews, and build long-term relationships through financial planning expertise.
- Conduct reporting and relevant analysis using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and assess program effectiveness.
- Contribute to team and department goals while strengthening customer service and dedication.
- Monitor service, productivity, and assess efficiency to implement continuous improvements.
- Stay knowledgeable of best practices, procedures, and emerging trends.
- Acquire and apply expertise, provide mentorship, assistance, and direction to others.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by aligned risk appetite.
- Participate fully as a team member and support a positive, service-oriented work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or CFA Level 1 (or higher) required before start date.
- Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within the first 90 days in role.
- CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license within the first 90 days in role.
- Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within the first 30 months in role.
- Achieve Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within the first 3 years in role.
Nice to Have
- University Degree.
- 3 – 5 years within the financial services industry managing client relationships, providing financial advice and tailored investment solutions.
