The CMA CGM Group, a global leader in sea, land, air, and logistics solutions, is hiring a Finance Generalist Manager. This role is central to ensuring robust financial governance, operational efficiency, and strategic financial insight to support sustainable growth. You will manage finance sub-functions including accounting, controlling, taxation, and treasury, play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, and partner closely with executive leadership on investment and financing decisions.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, submit, and analyze accurate and compliant accounting and financial information, adhering to IFRS and Group procedures.
- Assure the application of Group financial rules for customer collection, treasury, working capital, and financing.
- Lead the budget and periodic forecasting process with Management, ensuring its monitoring and supporting the entity in development and optimization projects.
- Serve as the primary contact for local authorities and external bodies, including auditors and financial institutions, and for Group internal departments.
- Work closely with Operations, Commercial, and Customer Service teams to ensure proper revenue recognition and cost allocation.
- Propose, implement, and monitor actions to reach Group performance targets (KPIs) and contribute to optimizing financial processes.
- Lead and develop the local finance team, ensuring strong financial capability and adherence to Group standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to Group financial policies and internal control procedures, identifying and escalating issues to management when necessary.
What We're Looking For
- An MBA or professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA).
- 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS), internal controls, and financial governance frameworks.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, treasury management, and performance analysis.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication.

- Experience within shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or multinational organizations.
