What You'll Do
Conduct both remote and on-site inspections at authorized manufacturing facilities to verify ongoing compliance with CSA certification requirements. Select and assess representative product samples to confirm alignment with applicable standards and certification reports. Review quality assurance systems, testing procedures, and production records to ensure consistent conformity.
Prepare detailed inspection documentation, including Factory Inspection Reports, Initial Factory Evaluations, and product compliance summaries, following established protocols. Analyze prior findings to confirm resolution of past deviations. Under supervision, assess the severity of non-compliances and determine appropriate actions, which may include shipment holds, re-evaluation, or mark removal.
Maintain regular contact with clients to provide updates, respond to inquiries, and support changes to certification records. Stay informed about new services and relay relevant information to stakeholders. Support compliance continuity through accurate reporting and follow-up activities.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical discipline, or an Associate’s degree with relevant technical background
- Licensed Electrician with industry experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus two years of related work experience
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, test results, and technical documentation
- Experience with calibrated measuring tools, high-voltage testing equipment, hand tools, and laboratory instrumentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
- Ability to work independently from a home office with reliable organization and time management
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Europe, including short-notice cross-border assignments
- Competence in word processing, email, and digital reporting systems
- Skills in conflict resolution and client-facing interactions during compliance reviews

Work Mode
This role operates in a hybrid format, primarily based in Northeast Germany, with regular remote work options and flexible scheduling. Travel throughout Europe is required as needed, including short-notice assignments across borders.
