Philips is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Imaging Systems team. This role is based in the Midlands and focuses on providing direct support to our MRI customers and partners by installing, maintaining, and repairing technologically advanced imaging equipment.
What You'll Do
- Operate at an advanced technical level to provide expert advice and solutions to customers and colleagues.
- Provide field-based and remote technical support in line with your relevant training and experience.
- Carry out corrective, preventative, installation, and field change order activities on complex healthcare systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, hardware, and software system failures using established procedures and information.
- Determine the most cost-effective repair or solution to minimize customer downtime.
- Actively participate in an ongoing rotation with the Field Service Engineer team, providing customers with direct remote support in a 5 by 7 working pattern.

Nice to Have
- An HNC (NVQ Level 3 or higher) or a Degree in Electro-engineering or an equivalent field.
- Experience in carrying out corrective and preventative works for Imaging Systems devices and equipment.
- Competency in IT/Network diagnosis, system connectivity, and remote service.
Team & Environment
You will be part of a regional team of collaborative Field Service Engineers, reporting to the District Service Delivery Manager for the South West.
