About the Role

Dell Technologies is hiring a Field Service Engineer to deliver critical on-site technical support and customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Dell hardware and software directly at customer locations.

What You'll Do

  • Triage technical issues with direction from Dell support teams.
  • Execute the plan of action provided by Dell Domain Engineers.
  • Document results, logs, and service reports via case email.
  • Reseat, swap, or replace hardware components and upgrade firmware as required.
  • Perform server testing and validation, including running diagnostics and capturing detailed logs.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional experience, plus either an Associate's Degree in a technical discipline OR an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Hands-on experience delivering technical Field Services for hardware and software at client sites.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, including successfully reporting and presenting to all levels of an organization.
  • Experience working in environments with large, concentrated deployments of assets, including networking and Fiber knowledge.
  • Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs waist high to replace components on server stacks.

Nice to Have

  • Dell EMC Proven Professional Specialist Level certification (one or more): CPSD (Converged, Hyper Converged) and Server (PowerEdge).
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA (Tech+, A+, Security+, Network+) or networking certifications like CCNA or equivalent.

Team & Environment

You will be part of a dedicated Field Service Team, working directly at customer sites to ensure the performance and reliability of their Dell infrastructure.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $72,000 - $93,500.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position based in Barstow, Texas.
