Dell Technologies is looking for a Field Service Engineer 2 to deliver outstanding on-site support and create a great customer experience. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise, diagnostic tools, and analytical practices to resolve customer issues directly at client sites.
What You'll Do
- Triage issues with direction from Dell support teams.
- Execute a plan of action from Dell Domain Engineers, communicating via Teams, Email, and Phone.
- Document results, logs, and service reports—including part numbers—to Dell via case email.
- Reseat, swap, or replace parts and upgrade firmware as needed.
- Perform server testing and validation by running diagnostics and capturing logs.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience, plus an Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Experience delivering field services supporting hardware and software at client sites.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, including reporting and presenting to all organizational levels.
- Experience working in locations with large, concentrated deployments of assets and familiarity with networking and Fiber.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs waist high to replace server components.
Nice to Have
- Dell EMC Proven Professional Specialist Level certification (CPSD for Converged/Hyper Converged or PowerEdge Server).
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or CCNA.

You will join our Field Service Team, providing hands-on technical support in a collaborative environment.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $72,000 - $93,500.

This is an onsite position located in Dalton, Georgia.
