Dell Technologies is looking for a Field Service Engineer to provide critical on-site services directly to our customers. You will be the technical face of Dell, responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of multi-vendor systems.
What You'll Do
- Apply technical support expertise to resolve customer issues by driving timely onsite services for Break/Fix and proactive maintenance.
- Collaborate with peers and internal SMEs to increase your knowledge.
- Seek resolution to achieve closure of complex technical issues.
- Use troubleshooting diagnostic tools, content, and analytical practices to determine the best way to resolve identified and unidentified problems.
- Develop professional expertise and apply company policies to resolve issues.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Intermediate hardware technical skills.
- Advanced professional and customer service skills.
- A full, clean driver’s license.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- Dell EMC Proven Professional Specialist Level certification in at least one of the following: PowerScale, ECS, VPLEX/metro-node, XtremIO, Unity, VMAX/PowerMAX, Data Domain, Avamar, Hyperconverged (VxRail, PowerFlex), or PowerEdge.
Work Mode
This role is based locally, requiring on-site work with our customers across Switzerland.
