What You'll Do
Deliver hands-on technical service by installing, maintaining, and repairing sophisticated equipment at customer sites. You’ll ensure systems operate to specification, conducting thorough operational checks and preventive maintenance according to schedule. Provide clear guidance to customers on system use and upkeep, enhancing their long-term success.
Act as the primary technical contact during assigned projects, coordinating between internal teams and client stakeholders on both administrative and technical matters. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues on-site or remotely, applying sound judgment to select the most effective tools and methods for resolution. Timely reporting and escalation of challenges to management are essential to maintaining service standards.
Collaborate across departments and product lines, sharing field insights and technical knowledge to strengthen team capabilities. Support cleanroom operations and be prepared for rotating on-call duties, including after-hours and international assignments when required.
Requirements
Applicants should hold a degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry—particularly with vacuum or wet etching equipment—is required. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with fluency in spoken and written English and the local language.
Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, and other common PC applications is expected, as is familiarity with network systems and operating environments including Windows, Unix, and Linux. Candidates must be comfortable working in semiconductor clean room settings and available for 24/7 on-call and rotating shift support. Demonstrated customer focus, initiative, and the ability to work independently are key.
