Bayer Global is hiring a Field Sales Representative III CP to own and drive sales targets for Bayer Crop Science products within a specific Minnesota territory. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing dealer business plans, consulting with retailers, and working closely with a collaborative commercial team to grow market share. What You'll Do
- Achieve assigned sales targets with Bayer products in coordination with your pod-mates.
- Develop and implement dealer business plans, manage forecasting, inventory, and product line demand.
- Serve as the key business consultant to retailers and dealers, effectively selling the value of Bayer products.
- Demonstrate proof of product performance against the competition by championing Bayer brands.
- Collaborate with pod-mate Field Sales Representatives, Customer Business Advisors, Agronomists, and Technology Development Representatives.
- Proactively manage inventory concerns to meet business objectives and anticipate demand bottlenecks.
- Gather, assimilate, and analyze market and competitive information.
- Utilize data to make key decisions that drive the business.
- Develop and recommend strategies for achieving long and short-term business plans for key accounts.
- Effectively manage expenses, discretionary dollars, and program payments per company policy.
- Independently work to expand selling skills and product knowledge while mentoring peers.
- Ensure achievement of program execution and fulfillment, including national/regional marketing initiatives.
- Take a leadership role in partnering with pod-mates and managing relationships with top growers and retailers.
- Act as the business expert for top growers and retailers, planning for their business needs.
- Proactively mentor and coach earlier-in-career Field Sales Representatives.
- Manage area claims per Bayer Crop Science policy through effective problem solving and administration.
- Grow market share of Crop Protection/Seed and Trait business and create demand within your territory.

- Willingness to travel and live/work in a rural environment.
- Proven interest in supporting collaboration and teamwork.
- Position requires driving for the company; ability to pass a driving record background check.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of experience in sales, marketing, account management, or agriculture, OR other education level and 10+ years of listed experience.
- Demonstrated product, portfolio, and agronomic knowledge.
Team & Environment
You will collaborate closely with pod-mate Field Sales Representatives, Customer Business Advisors, Bayer Agronomists, and Technology Development Representatives to maximize services, information, and sales.

Work Mode
This is a local-country position based in Minnesota. It requires approximately 60% travel, primarily day travel within the assigned geography.
