The Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), a subsidiary of McKesson, is hiring a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM). In this role, you will manage an assigned territory, supporting reimbursement and patient services for a specific drug. You'll build relationships with physician offices and manufacturer representatives, providing education on the payer landscape and available support services through both remote and on-site training.
What You'll Do
- Provide on-site and on-demand education for office staff regarding reimbursement challenges and support services, including presentations.
- Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization processes, Support Center Services, and Medicare/Commercial coverage.
- Provide reimbursement support on case management, billing and coding updates, claims submission, and assistance with co-pay and patient assistance programs.
- Set up appointments, complete outbound calls to targeted offices, and assist with backlog casework.
- Interface with physicians and manufacturer representatives to obtain and provide patient and provider-specific information.
- Monitor program performance for physicians and manufacturer representatives.
- Research and compile provider and manufacturer representative information for the reimbursement database.
What We're Looking For
- A 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of healthcare-related reimbursement experience.
- Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
- Experience in the healthcare industry including insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication.
- Must have Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience.
- Ability to deliver and document benefit investigation outcomes and relay status reports.
- Proven presentation skills and experience.
- Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong computer literacy including PowerPoint and Web Meeting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Must reside in the assigned territory.
- Ability to travel 80% (4 days a week) via automobile or plane.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary Range: $72,200 - $120,400.
