Jobgether is hiring a Field Engineer - High Voltage to play a key hands-on role supporting complex power delivery projects across the United States. This remote position involves significant travel to diverse job sites, where you will be responsible for ensuring quality standards, coordinating field activities, and maintaining accurate documentation.
What You'll Do
- Perform field surveys and track work activities using GPS and PC-based software.
- Manage project-specific quality control records, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Assist with subcontractor scheduling and oversight to maintain project timelines.
- Support project closeout activities, including as-built documentation and RFI submittals.
- Provide regular updates to project management, escalating risks or issues as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including extended hours and weekend work when required.
What We're Looking For
- Prior construction experience, ideally in high-voltage or infrastructure projects.
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- Familiarity with GPS and surveying equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and customer-focused.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred experience with project management software such as ProCore, E-builder, View Point, Build to Win.
