H.B. Fuller is looking for a Facility & Operations Manager to lead all aspects of operations at our Wunstorf, Germany site. Reporting to the EA EIMEA Operations Director, you will oversee production and manage teams across Production, Logistics, EHS, Quality, and Continuous Improvement to ensure operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Serve as facility leader for production, quality, EHS, and operational KPIs.
- Implement productivity, yield, and quality improvement techniques.
- Troubleshoot internal quality issues and execute corrective actions.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement root cause solutions.
- Recommend and drive process improvements for new and existing products.
- Support R&D in product introductions, scale-up, and material acquisition.
- Lead projects focused on quality and productivity enhancements.
- Manage non-production facility-related issues and act as primary contact with the local Works Council.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of plant management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to drive projects and engage teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; ability to work independently under pressure.
- Fluent in English and German (spoken and written).
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years in the chemical or adhesive industry.
- Technical apprenticeship degree.
- SAP knowledge.
