ALICE + OLIVIA is looking for a Fabric R&D Intern to provide critical support for our seasonal material development process. You will work hands-on with fabrics and textiles, ensuring our creative team has the organized resources they need.
What You'll Do
- Maintain the core swatch archive
- Receive and price new fabric selections
- Organize headers into their appropriate categories and file them
- Send physical references and color palettes to suppliers
- Manage the solid snip chart of SRS color references
- Scan selected headers and aid in assigning codes
- Receive Fabric Detail Sheets and update charts
- Check tracking received from suppliers to ensure accuracy
- Take fabric photos for design and merchandising visual decks
- Help steam and organize new garments for fashion week
What We're Looking For
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, collaborative style
- Resourceful self-starter who can work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiar with Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom)

- Education in textiles, design, product development, or marketing
