Danfoss is looking for an External Sales professional to join our team in Ames, IA. In this role, you will identify target customers, support the BU Sales Manager and Americas Sales team, and contribute to product line growth and value chain improvements. You will report directly to Product Group Leaders and provide critical market pricing guidance for new product development programs.

What You'll Do

Identify target customers and support the BU Sales Manager & Americas Sales team.
Provide input on product line growth plans and value chain improvements.
Offer market pricing guidance for new product development programs.
Contribute to product localization, conversion centers, and channel partner strategies.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.
15 years experience in closed-circuit piston product and system applications.
15 years experience with Danfoss Power Solutions Hydrostatics off-highway mobile markets.
10 years experience operating within a matrix organization.
10 years experience with SAP, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, and MS Office.
10 years experience with direct customer support for engineered solutions.
7 years experience in pricing, new business development, product lifecycle and portfolio management.
