Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Sales Territory Manager to lead sales efforts in the Rockies Region, specifically targeting contractors and distributors in the spray foam market. This remote position requires residency in either Denver or Salt Lake City, with no relocation support provided. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the ideal candidate will combine field sales expertise with strategic planning to expand market share and exceed annual targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by building and maintaining relationships with contractors, distributors, and specifiers
- Create and execute annual business plans aligned with regional sales goals
- Engage decision-makers through professional, value-driven conversations to secure product specifications
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities
- Develop and present customized business proposals, including pricing strategies and contract terms
- Stay informed on competitor pricing, marketing tactics, and market shifts to inform strategy
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks, including expense reporting, CRM updates, and pricing requests
- Maintain fluency in pricing models and sales tools to support effective negotiations
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, along with at least five years of outside sales experience in construction or building materials. Prior experience in spray foam or insulation products is highly preferred. Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.com is required.
Applicants must currently reside in Denver or Salt Lake City and be able to travel frequently within the region—approximately 75% travel is expected. Candidates must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
