What You'll Do
Support attorneys in civil defense litigation by managing discovery processes from start to finish. Gather, evaluate, and summarize critical documents such as medical, financial, and employment records to build case foundations. Create detailed chronologies and summaries of medical histories to assist in case strategy.
Prepare comprehensive trial materials, including notebooks, exhibits, and witness documentation. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. Compile evidence by reviewing discovery responses, transcripts, and research databases to support legal arguments.
Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Draft status updates, case logs, and document indexes to track progress. Conduct legal and medical research to analyze case facts and support expert review.
Assist in evaluating expert witnesses by examining credentials, prior testimony, and published work. Handle correspondence and scheduling related to expert engagement and discovery deadlines.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of direct litigation paralegal experience
- Completion of a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree

- Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program
