About the Role

This role is responsible for leading the commercialization of oncology-focused products and services in the Eastern US region. The individual will partner with healthcare providers, academic institutions, and biopharma organizations to expand the use of advanced genomic technologies in cancer research and clinical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field-based commercial efforts for oncology offerings in the Eastern United States
  • Collaborate with healthcare systems to integrate genomic solutions into clinical workflows
  • Engage with key opinion leaders in oncology and molecular diagnostics
  • Support customer adoption through education and technical consultation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align sales and scientific strategies
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities in cancer genomics
  • Deliver product demonstrations tailored to oncology applications
  • Respond to complex customer inquiries involving assay performance and data interpretation
  • Facilitate training sessions for clinical and laboratory staff
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oncology testing guidelines and regulatory standards
  • Track and report on regional sales activities and market trends
  • Participate in scientific conferences and industry events
  • Build relationships with pathology and molecular labs
  • Advocate for customer needs internally
  • Support contract negotiations with healthcare institutions
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies
  • Coordinate with marketing to develop region-specific materials
  • Provide feedback on product development based on customer insights
  • Work closely with distribution partners where applicable
  • Manage customer evaluations and pilot programs
  • Drive awareness of clinical utility among oncologists and pathologists
  • Monitor competitor activity in the oncology diagnostics space
  • Contribute to long-term market expansion strategies
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and technical support teams
