Drive growth in protein research through technical sales excellence. As an AKTA Sales Specialist, you'll play a key role in advancing the Protein Research portfolio by aligning customer research goals with innovative purification solutions. Working remotely, you'll focus on expanding adoption of AKTA systems, UNICORN software, and chromatography resins within academic, biotech, and government research environments.
What You’ll Do
- Lead sales initiatives to meet revenue and order targets through precise forecasting and pipeline development.
- Deliver expert guidance on protein purification workflows, integrating hardware, software, and consumables to optimize laboratory efficiency.
- Identify new market opportunities by tracking research trends and engaging with emerging labs and funded projects.
- Collaborate with application specialists and account teams to provide seamless technical and commercial support.
- Translate customer insights into actionable feedback for product development and marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and continuously strengthen your expertise in protein science and chromatography.
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s or higher in Protein Science, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related life science field.
- Fluency in both English and Korean, both written and spoken.
- Strong background in laboratory-scale downstream processing and protein characterization.
- Proven experience in biotech or biopharmaceutical sales or technical support (5+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with AKTA systems, Biacore, and chromatography resins is highly valued.
- Ability to travel internationally when required and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Eligibility to work in Korea under local immigration requirements.
