Lear Corporation is hiring an Executive Compensation Manager

About the Role

As an Executive Compensation Manager at Lear Corporation, you will join the compensation team responsible for the design, administration, and analysis of executive compensation programs. You will ensure the accurate execution of incentive plans, equity programs, and governance processes while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Administer executive compensation programs, including annual bonus and long-term incentive plans.
  • Coordinate grant processing, vesting schedules, and payouts in alignment with plan documents.
  • Maintain accurate records in HRIS and equity management systems.
  • Conduct market benchmarking for executive roles.
  • Prepare materials for Compensation Committee meetings, including proxy compensation disclosure and CD&A support.
  • Ensure adherence to SEC, IRS, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Support internal audits and maintain documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Partner with Total Rewards and HR teams on compensation initiatives and special projects.
  • Serve as a liaison with external vendors for equity administration and survey participation.
  • Project manage all purchasing requests related to the role and partner with IT and Non-Prod Procurement teams.
  • Partner with Accounting, Payroll, and Internal Audit teams to ensure records are fully audited and documented.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements in compensation administration.
  • Update policies and procedures annually in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement lessons learned after annual processes to drive continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years in executive compensation or similar related experience.
  • Knowledge of compensation-related laws and regulations.
  • Experience with proxy disclosure and executive pay governance.
