Hilton is hiring an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations in our San Jose hotel. You will be responsible for directing the planning, preparation, and production of all hotel meals, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This role is central to maintaining our commitment to hospitality and quality.
What You'll Do
- Direct and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and compliance with safety standards.
- Create and implement new menus and individual menu items based on current trends and regional tastes.
- Interact with guests to monitor satisfaction, address issues, and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards.
- Perform general management duties including budgeting, forecasting, report generation, and meeting facilitation.
- Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, scheduling, and evaluations.
- Recruit, interview, and train culinary team members.
