Skanska is looking for an Estimator to join the Healthcare (NHP) team within our Building Operating Unit. Your core responsibility will be to develop tender information into competitive financial submissions, securing new work through accurate cost estimation and supporting the bidding process.
What You'll Do
- Prepare all financial elements and components of the tendering process from identification and authorisation to financial handover.
- Aid the Senior Project Estimator to develop information into a competitive cost estimate.
- Prepare all necessary financial documents for review by the Chief Estimator and Director.
- Assist the bidding team with any post-tender negotiations as required.
- Support ongoing framework and target cost projects.
- Prepare cost plans and undertake cost planning exercises.
What We're Looking For
- Experience pricing tenders using computerised estimating systems.
- Experience estimating for large building projects.
- Demonstrable experience issuing and receiving tender queries.
- Demonstrable experience liaising and working with Sub-contractors and Suppliers to produce robust estimates.
Nice to Have
- Experience pricing tenders using computerised estimating systems, with a preference for Causeway.
