CoverGo is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide design and delivery expertise for forward-looking solutions in a modern, cloud-based insurance environment. You will work directly with clients to assess their needs, design tailored architectures, and support business initiatives aligned with defined roadmaps.
What You'll Do
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and advise on appropriate solution architectures.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to align client needs with solution design.
- Work closely with Delivery Managers to oversee the architecture approach during solution deployment.
- Explore creative alternatives to identify the most effective solutions for business problems.
- Ensure designed solutions are implemented according to client expectations and company standards.
- Assist in identifying, specifying, and selecting off-the-shelf components to meet client needs.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the implementation process.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solutions.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6 years of experience in solution architecture design and delivery within the insurance vertical, with exposure to multiple lines of business.
- Proven experience delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Ability to assist in defining and socializing a product or enterprise roadmap.
- Strong capability to translate client requirements into actionable steps and solution architectures.
- Understanding of business architecture models and patterns.
- Experience designing and implementing innovative solutions, thinking 'outside the box' while respecting business constraints.
- Knowledge of optimum approaches for highly available and scalable cloud-based applications.
- Hands-on experience designing solutions in both Relational DB and noSQL environments.
- Experience designing for API & Micro-services centric environments.
- Demonstrated ability to self-learn new technology trends and approaches.
- Exposure to authentication and authorisation concepts like SSO, SAML, and identity federation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable discussing strategy with all levels from CxO to project teams.
- Strong analytical skills to understand and collect corporate business requirements.
- Strong ability to build value propositions, solution documents, and business cases for clients.
- Relationship management experience with corporate clients.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of insurance business processes across all areas and at least two lines of business.
- Proactive planning and organized approach to maintain direction and focus.
- A high proficiency in English as your primary language.
Nice to Have
- Experience or understanding of the benefits of low-code platforms.
- Experience with multiple development languages and various database engines.
- Certification in an architecture discipline like TOGAF or Zachman.
- Certification in a cloud environment with broad knowledge of the platform’s capabilities.
