Support Customer Success Through Technical Expertise
In this role, you will lead technical engagements for customers across the EMEA region, guiding them through the implementation and optimization of GitLab solutions. Your work will center on delivering tailored services such as system installation, configuration, and data migration from legacy version control systems, ensuring each deployment aligns with the customer’s operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer-facing technical projects including setup, customization, and integration of GitLab in diverse environments
- Design and deliver remote or on-site training sessions to empower customer teams
- Develop migration strategies and execute plans for transferring source code and version control data
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, implementation guides, and reusable templates
- Collaborate with technical architects to fulfill the scope defined in statements of work
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve customer outcomes and streamline workflows
- Assist in scoping and estimating future service engagements
- Contribute to internal improvements in service delivery processes and tooling
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proven ability to deploy, configure, or manage GitLab in production environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, remote-first setting
- A proactive, organized, and self-directed approach to problem-solving
- Alignment with a values-driven culture that emphasizes transparency and continuous learning
- Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 20% of the time
