- Architect and refine scalable, high-performance systems that support critical financial operations
- Define how microservices, APIs, and third-party systems interact, ensuring clarity and consistency
- Guide engineering teams through complex technical decisions and long-term architectural planning
- Ensure systems meet strict standards for reliability, fault tolerance, and performance
- Diagnose and resolve systemic bottlenecks with sustainable, forward-looking solutions
- Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to align system design with business goals
- Establish and maintain engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices

- Strong command of microservices, event-driven patterns, and API design (REST, GraphQL)
- Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Expertise in database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL
- Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Understanding of scalability techniques, caching, and load distribution
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows
- Ability to balance performance, cost, and complexity in system trade-offs
Preferred Background
- Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or high-throughput transaction systems
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and service mesh technologies like Istio
- Exposure to event sourcing or CQRS architectural patterns
- Strong grasp of security principles in distributed environments
- Leadership in designing and operating production-scale platforms
