What You'll Do
You will drive mid-market and enterprise sales across India, taking full ownership of revenue generation for a cloud cost-optimization solution. Working remotely with field support, you'll identify, engage, and close high-value opportunities within targeted organizations.
Develop and execute strategic plans for a portfolio of 20–40 key accounts across one or two industries, focusing on long-term growth and relationship depth. You'll lead all stages of the sales cycle—from initial discovery through technical alignment, commercial negotiation, legal review, and final signature—ensuring seamless progression.
Engage executives such as CIOs, CTOs, Heads of IT and Infrastructure, and CISOs, building multi-threaded relationships to advance complex deals. Conduct regular pipeline reviews using a structured approach to maintain momentum and accountability. Leverage partnerships with managed service providers, system integrators, and independent software vendors when beneficial to expand reach and accelerate delivery.
Requirements
- 7–15 years in B2B sales, with at least 3 years focused on closing enterprise IT deals in the Indian market
- Proven success selling to senior technology decision-makers, with documented deal sizes and clear buyer profiles
- Background in one or more of the following: public cloud or IaaS, managed services, data center infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, DevOps platforms, or enterprise services from SIs/MSPs
- Experience navigating enterprise procurement workflows, including security assessments, legal reviews, vendor onboarding, and pricing approvals
- Strong organizational skills, disciplined follow-up habits, and fluency in structured deal management
- Ability to maintain accurate CRM records and deliver reliable revenue forecasts
Preferred Qualifications
- Established network of enterprise contacts in India—both customers and partners—that can accelerate market entry
- Track record working within partner-led sales models, particularly in MSP or SI ecosystems
- Experience selling solutions related to cloud migration, FinOps, cost optimization, compliance, disaster recovery, or application modernization
