Jasper is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing team of software engineers. In this role, you'll be responsible for people management, technical execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful features that improve how users create and manage content with AI.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of engineers working on core areas of Jasper’s platform (e.g., content generation, collaboration tools, data pipelines, or integrations).
- Foster a high-trust, inclusive, and feedback-driven engineering culture focused on learning, autonomy, and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver on technical and business goals.
- Ensure reliable delivery by creating healthy team rituals, resolving blockers, and optimizing processes.
- Support engineers' growth through coaching, mentorship, regular feedback, and clear development plans.
- Participate in technical design reviews, architectural planning, and roadmap discussions.
- Contribute to hiring and onboarding as we continue scaling the engineering team.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience (e.g. full-stack, backend, infrastructure) and a deep understanding of modern engineering best practices.
- 2+ years of engineering management experience.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality features with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have
- Engineering management experience ideally in a VC-backed, high-growth SaaS or product-led company.
- Passion for building generative AI products or developer tools is a strong plus.
- Experience managing remote teams is preferred.

- Compensation: $210,000 - $250,000
