AECOM is looking for an Engineer - Bridges & Structures to take on a variety of engineering tasks across the planning, design, and modification phases of our projects. You will join an organization that values your growth and provides the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects.

What You'll Do

Perform assessment of bridges to National Highways and Network Rail standards.
Conduct structural analysis and design for Bridges and Viaduct Structures, Flyovers, Underpasses, Culverts, and Retaining walls.
Correlate and interpret data shared by supporting interdisciplinary teams.
Propose alternative solutions for problems encountered during design.
Participate in the complete life cycle of a design project within Highway/Railway environments.

What We're Looking For

Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
3+ years of design experience in structural Engineering.
Experience working in rail and road bridges and associated structural engineering schemes, from assessment through to detailed design.
Exposure to International standards such as Euro Code, British Standards, AASHTO, AREMA, DMRB, and Australian Standards.

Nice to Have

Experience with bridge and related structural design schemes.
Experience in road and/or rail projects with UK, Middle East, and Australia project delivery.
Understanding of various software packages ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, and LUSAS.
Experience in Finite Element Analysis.
