Henry Schein One LLC is looking for an Endodontic Specialty Sales Consultant for the Chicago territory. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales and profit targets, growing market share, and establishing yourself as the go-to expert for endodontists. You will leverage deep product knowledge to sell both consumables and capital equipment.
What You'll Do
- Achieve sales and gross profit targets for your territory following a defined sales process.
- Present, promote, and sell products through extensive product knowledge and demonstrations.
- Drive both capital and consumable sales, including making cold calls, identifying prospects, setting appointments, and managing sales cycles.
- Create a territory sales strategy focused on growing existing customer relationships and leveraging key influencers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain exceptional business and customer relationships.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis for existing and potential customers.
- Adhere to funnel management, work plans, and territory analyses using available tools, including CRM.
- Attend sales meetings, dental conventions, and seminars as required.
- Respond professionally to customer concerns and ensure follow-up actions are communicated.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
- Demonstrate ethical behavior by adhering to company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in professional experience.
- A successful track record of selling capital and consumable products.
- Ability to engage and service customers to drive continued product utilization.
- Strong business acumen and time management skills.
- Ability to help clinicians and their staff deal with change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and carry assignments to completion.
- Technology proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Salesforce.com.
- Strong understanding of industry practices and high proficiency with tools and systems.
- Good planning, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task.
- Strong presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- Good conflict resolution skills and ability to deliver difficult messages.
- Ability to build partnerships internally and begin building them externally.
- Ability to resolve complex issues effectively.
- Willingness to travel at least 70% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline; a Master's degree is a plus.
- One or more industry certifications; professional certification may be required to advance.
