Corewell Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. You will report directly to the Nurse Leader and follow Corewell Health policies and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Utilize the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care.
- Incorporate patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
- Partner with and utilize patient/family input and goals in planning the plan of care.
- Develop teaching strategies for patient/family and document education appropriately in the health record.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's in Nursing.
- Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA, ARC, or Canadian Heart and Stroke upon hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months.
Nice to Have
- Direct patient care experience.
- 2 years of experience as an RN.
- Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years.
