Position Overview
This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Surgical Care, working overnight hours from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a 36-hour weekly schedule. The nurse will lead patient care initiatives, ensuring clinical standards are met while supporting recovery and safety in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation
- Provide care centered on the needs of patients and their families
- Access and apply administrative and clinical resources effectively
- Use electronic systems and support tools to enhance care delivery
- Work alongside clinicians across specialties to coordinate treatment and improve outcomes
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to deliver age-appropriate care based on patient population
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or CPR, where applicable to the unit
Compensation & Benefits

Work Environment
