SLR is hiring an E & S Consultant

Join a forward-thinking team as an E & S Consultant based in Casablanca, contributing to impactful sustainability projects across Africa and Asia. This role supports environmental and social assessments for financial initiatives, combining research, analysis, and logistical coordination to deliver high-quality outcomes in dynamic markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and project-related support throughout environmental and social due diligence processes, including participation in interviews and contributing to assessment reports
  • Conduct primary and secondary research on topics such as human rights, climate change, gender, and environmental management systems
  • Analyze data related to E&S risks and performance, translating findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Assist in preparing proposals, compiling organizational profiles, and developing business development content
  • Support planning and logistics for project teams, including coordination for site visits and travel arrangements
  • Engage in fieldwork to understand local contexts and support project implementation

Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a recognized university or institution studying Engineering, Social Sciences, Economics, or Environmental Economics
  • Strong command of both English and French, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
  • Ability to interpret technical data, assess risks, and communicate findings effectively
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, initiative, and self-driven learning
  • Familiarity with QGIS is a plus
  • Additional language skills, such as Arabic, are considered an asset
