What You'll Do
Drive IRC’s strategic outreach to major public donors in the Gulf region, including QFFD, IsDB, KSR, and ODA-UAE. Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies that align donor priorities with organizational goals, ensuring coordinated efforts across global, regional, and country levels.
Lead research and analysis of donor policies, funding trends, and regional dynamics to inform positioning and proposal development. Represent IRC directly with senior donor officials, preparing leadership and technical teams for high-level engagements and ensuring consistent messaging.
Manage due diligence processes for new donor opportunities in coordination with compliance and technical units. Use Salesforce to track all donor interactions and maintain an up-to-date engagement register across geographies.
Act as the central point of contact for Gulf donor initiatives, aligning business development teams, regional leaders, and technical advisors. Support bid teams with donor-specific insights and ensure timely, high-quality responses to funding opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven background in donor relations, business development, or policy within the humanitarian or development sector
- Direct experience engaging with Gulf-based donors or funding entities
- Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing preparation
- Ability to collaborate across complex organizational structures
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships under tight timelines
- Fluency in Arabic is required
