What You'll Do
Shape and execute a targeted business development strategy focused on US Army aviation logistics, including key stakeholders such as AMCOM, PEO-Aviation, and DLA. You will lead the identification, qualification, and pursuit of new opportunities through SAM.gov and Foreign Military Sales channels, ensuring alignment across technical, operational, and financial teams.
Drive the development of comprehensive Source Approval Request (SAR) packages, coordinating inputs from engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations to meet US Army requirements. Manage end-to-end submission processes, including compliance validation, internal approvals, risk tracking, and post-submission engagement.
Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to define and reverse-engineer MRO capabilities at TAT facilities, translating customer needs into viable business cases and rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates. Present progress and pipeline health through regular executive updates and quarterly business reviews.
Represent the organization at industry engagements, government forums, and acquisition planning sessions, maintaining a trusted presence with US Army sustainment and procurement decision-makers.
Requirements
- Proven experience working directly with or supporting Redstone Arsenal operations
- Background in US Army Aviation, including acquisition, integrated logistics, depot-level maintenance, or engineering roles within AMCOM or PEO-Aviation
- Minimum of three years in military MRO business development or capture management, with focus on Army programs
- Experience developing proposals in low-price technically acceptable (LPTA) environments
- Strong understanding of FAR and DFARS compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint for pipeline, data, and presentation management
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced settings
- Organized, metrics-focused, and accountable with a proactive approach to problem-solving
