B&G Foods is hiring a Food Service Sales Manager, Northeast Region

About the Role

Drive regional sales growth by leading a network of broker partners to expand market reach and increase product adoption among foodservice distributors and operators. Set clear performance goals, manage trade budgets effectively, and ensure initiatives align with broader financial objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed assigned sales targets while maintaining profitability
  • Guide a team of brokers by setting performance expectations, providing product training, and supporting field execution
  • Oversee regional trade fund allocation to maximize return on investment and support sales growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and act on market opportunities
  • Conduct training sessions to strengthen broker knowledge of products, priorities, and spending protocols
  • Join broker representatives on customer visits to engage directly with end users
  • Support participation in national and regional trade shows, including logistics and setup
  • Design and manage distributor programs that enhance efficiency and drive performance
  • Ensure seamless integration of newly acquired brands into existing sales channels

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in the foodservice industry
  • Proven success managing and motivating broker sales teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and create actionable plans
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Deep understanding of foodservice distributors and operator networks
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment with a positive, results-driven mindset
  • Demonstrated passion for both the business and team development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience calling on foodservice operators and distributors
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or Finance

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $104,141 to $173,568 annually. Final compensation will reflect role scope, experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity considerations. Hiring at the maximum of the range is uncommon.

Work Mode

Position covers the Northeast Region with regular overnight travel required. Flexibility to meet regional demands is essential.
