About the Role

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll shape and expand a national network of referral partners, including technology platforms, human capital management providers, CPAs, and financial advisors serving small and mid-sized businesses. Your primary focus will be identifying new collaboration opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and driving measurable pipeline growth through strategic outreach and joint planning.

You’ll work closely with partners to define shared business objectives, track performance, and co-develop go-to-market initiatives such as educational events, targeted campaigns, and digital outreach. When challenges arise, you’ll coordinate across internal teams—including Sales, Product, Marketing, and Legal—to deliver timely, effective solutions. You’ll also use data to refine strategies and ensure alignment with long-term revenue goals.

Requirements

You bring at least two years of experience building and managing partnerships or sales relationships in the SMB ecosystem, particularly with tech firms, HCM providers, or financial services professionals. You’ve thrived in performance-driven environments and consistently met or exceeded targets. Independence, resilience, and problem-solving are part of your mindset—you adapt quickly, overcome obstacles, and take initiative without constant oversight.

Strong communication skills are essential; people respond to your authenticity and confidence. You’re coachable, open to feedback, and committed to personal growth. Comfort with Salesforce is preferred. This position requires being in the field at least three days per week to meet with partners and support joint activities.

Compensation

The role offers a base salary of $70,000, with total On-Target Earnings between $130,000 and $140,000, including $70,000 in variable compensation. Employees also receive stock option grants and access to a broad range of wellness benefits supporting physical, financial, and mental health.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid position based in Austin, requiring field presence for at least three days each week to engage directly with partners and support joint initiatives.
