Ricoh Americas Holdings is hiring a District Manager to drive, lead, and develop a sales team of Account Managers. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving profitable growth through new business development and expanding services across the customer base, while proactively managing the district’s P/L.
What You'll Do
- Drive a sales team to execute on Ricoh's Equipment and Services Strategy, capabilities, standards, and actions.
- Achieve profitable equipment and services growth for assigned accounts, including contract retention and expansion, and addition of services.
- Focus on New Business Development with Ricoh's hardware and market-based services portfolio.
- Drive market share with Ricoh's services portfolio and champion new services as added.
- Hold Account Managers accountable to drive sales activities, achieve specific KPIs, and close deals.
- Set clear expectations by creating rigor and routine and inspecting activity that supports sales objectives.
- Collaborate with internal resources to align activities, support, and talent to deliver sales.
- Actively engage peers and specialty areas to address issues or develop stronger processes for driving growth.
- Coach and develop talent, assessing strengths and weaknesses.
- Coach Account Managers through the defined selling methodology.
- Create development plans with Account Managers.
- Engage proactively to achieve company financial targets.
- Manage the business by execution of KPIs.
- Drive Gross Profit through all lines of the business.
- Review and adjust to the needs of business based on the District P/L.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience in related field.
- 7+ years experience selling products and services.
- 5+ years sales management experience.
- Consultative / Sales experience.
- P/L Knowledge and understanding.
- Energetic, adaptable, service-oriented, innovative & future focused, open minded & authentic, data driven, accountable, and agile leadership traits.
- Expert customer service and sales skills.
- Strong ability to manage and motivate teams to attain account & District goals.
- Effectively communicates to all levels of the organization both internal and customers' and to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated listening and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Strong interpersonal and self-motivational skills.
