Biote is hiring a District Manager to join our mission of improving healthcare through bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and healthy aging options. In this field-based remote position, you will be responsible for recruiting physicians and practitioners into partnership within the Knoxville territory, developing relationships, and supporting the growth of their practices.
What You'll Do
- Acquire and retain extensive knowledge of hormone replacement therapy.
- Conduct physician, staff, and patient training on Biote’s business protocols including marketing, financial, therapy, forms, patient seminars, and online resources.
- Read and understand medical and scientific studies.
- Research and evaluate physicians in assigned areas based on Biote’s criteria.
- Present Biote’s training and business program to physicians, NPs, PAs, office managers, and staff.
- Recruit suitable physicians and practitioners through prospecting, appointment setting, and presentations.
- Cultivate and maintain partnerships with practitioners to grow practices and maintain patient retention levels of 60% or better.
- Secure all required contracts, paperwork, documentation, payments, and fees for training and certification classes.
- Conduct and facilitate patient educational seminars monthly for trained practitioners.
- Contribute to practice development by assisting Office Manager/Marketing with email marketing, social media, referral cards, and website information cards.
- Prospect for new leads and identify quality sales prospects.
- Attend marketing and sales events for prospects and current customers.
- Work with customers for sales referrals with new prospects.
- Update all relevant sales activities in the Company’s CRM system.
- Close sales accurately and effectively each month to meet or exceed targets.
- Respond to all emails from customers, Biote employees, and vendors in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong teamwork, communication (written and oral), client management, and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in a business-to-business model.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive communications and technical presentations to physicians, management, and/or large groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management software.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the month.
- Scheduled hours are 40 to 50 hours per week Monday through Friday (may be extended).
- Valid driver’s license issued by the state/province of residence and a good driving record.
- Home office capability with reliable high-speed internet access.
- Must be located in the Knoxville area.
