BeOne is hiring a Director, Pipeline & Business Development Valuation to join our Global Commercial Strategy and Operations (GCSO) organization. In this role, you will lead commercial assessments for our internal pipeline programs and develop comprehensive forecasts, while also conducting business development valuations and leading cross-functional initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain forecasts for pipeline assets, including assumptions, methodologies, and documentation.
- Assess forecast risk and uncertainty, running sensitivity analyses and scenarios.
- Conduct primary and secondary market research on disease epidemiology, patient segmentation, treatment paradigms, and competitive landscapes.
- Translate market research insights into qualitative and quantitative commercial assessments.
- Support major planning processes like LRP and portfolio prioritization with forecast submissions and narratives.
- Coordinate inputs from internal and external data sources, ensuring data quality and consistent assumptions.
- Provide commercial business case assessments to inform critical pipeline investment decisions.
- Present and defend commercial cases to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish Target Product Profiles and market positioning strategies for early-stage programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish relevant Disease Area Strategies.
What We're Looking For
- A BS with 10+ years, an MS with 7+ years, or a Doctorate with 5+ years of experience in commercial assessment, new product planning, disease area strategy, or early commercialization from the pharmaceutical industry, consulting, or equity analysis.
- A demonstrated track record in indication- and patient-level forecasting methodologies.
- Proficiency in both primary and secondary market research.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to analyze scientific and financial data, synthesize insights, and prepare precise presentations for executives.
- Experience working in a cross-functional setting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to coach junior team members.
- Excellent learning capability and aspiration for excellence.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Nice to Have
- Oncology and Immunology & inflammatory disease area knowledge or experience.
- Programming knowledge such as Python, R, or SQL.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $174,600.00 - $234,600.00 annually.
- Eligibility for discretionary equity awards.
