Pantheon Systems, Inc is hiring a Director of Sales, APAC

Lead the expansion of a global SaaS platform across the Asia-Pacific region in a pivotal leadership role. As the first sales leader on the ground, you'll establish market presence starting in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, shaping strategy, building pipelines, and driving new business revenue from the outset.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for APAC, with accountability for revenue targets, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline development
  • Secure early flagship customers through direct sales while designing scalable sales processes for future growth
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead the first in-region go-to-market team, starting with 2–4 roles focused on sales and expanding into partner development, SDR functions, and customer-facing positions
  • Cultivate a network of local agency and technology partners to co-sell and generate referral opportunities
  • Collaborate with global teams in Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to adapt programs and operations for regional relevance
  • Provide executive leadership with market intelligence, sales visibility, and strategic recommendations based on regional insights
  • Represent APAC customer needs internally, influencing product direction, training priorities, and long-term GTM planning
  • Lay the strategic groundwork for future expansion into additional APAC markets, including Japan

Who You Are

  • Experienced in launching or scaling sales operations in new regions, particularly within SaaS or developer-centric technology platforms
  • Proven success selling mid-market or enterprise software solutions
  • Skilled at building teams in emerging markets, with a track record of in-region hiring and leadership
  • Comfortable operating independently, creating structure in ambiguous environments, and driving initiatives with limited initial resources
  • Familiar with partner-driven growth, especially through digital agencies and integrators
  • Able to balance short-term revenue goals with long-term market development priorities
  • Clear, effective communicator across time zones and global functions
  • Based in Australia, preferably in Sydney or Melbourne, with readiness to travel across the region and occasionally beyond
