Lead the sales function for a mission-driven cybersecurity company at the forefront of AI-powered software security. As Head of Sales, you will define and execute the go-to-market strategy, build and manage a high-performing team, and directly influence the company's path to product-market fit. This is a foundational role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution in a fast-moving, technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a scalable sales strategy focused on acquiring enterprise clients, with direct experience engaging technical and security leadership including CISOs, SOC directors, and national security organizations
- Build and optimize an outbound sales engine to generate consistent pipeline growth and revenue
- Recruit, mentor, and scale a sales team aligned with company objectives and customer acquisition goals
- Manage strategic accounts and partnerships, ensuring customer retention and identifying expansion opportunities
- Stay current on evolving threats, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to continuously refine sales approaches
- Partner with marketing and product teams to develop compelling sales collateral, demonstrations, and customer stories
- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting through close—with disciplined pipeline management and forecasting accuracy
- Utilize HubSpot to track performance, forecast revenue monthly, and optimize conversion rates across the funnel
What You Bring
- Minimum of five years in B2B sales, with demonstrated success in cybersecurity, enterprise software, or technical markets
- Proven leadership in building and scaling sales teams within early-stage or high-growth technology companies
- Deep familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and the ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to technical and executive audiences
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building trust across developer, security, and executive teams
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and a data-driven mindset for pipeline and performance analysis
- Experience in pre-product-market-fit environments with a history of contributing to rapid revenue scaling
- History of exceeding targets and driving measurable revenue growth in competitive markets

- Experience launching innovative or category-defining security products
- Established network within the cybersecurity community that can accelerate sales outreach
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence applications in security contexts
