Responsibilities
- Ensure the facility's systems and structures operate safely and efficiently in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, life safety systems, and outdoor areas
- Perform regular inspections of the property to assess operational and safety standards
- Assign, track, and record all scheduled maintenance and repair tasks using the property’s maintenance management system
- Maintain accurate records for energy conservation, energy management, and preventive maintenance programs
- Lead capital improvement projects and property upgrades, managing timelines, budgets, and adherence to contractor selection procedures
- Secure necessary permits and licenses to maintain compliance with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee daily operations of the department, including guest service protocols, product quality, inventory oversight, cost efficiency, system utilization, budget planning, regulatory compliance, and meeting leadership
- Evaluate and enhance team performance through supervision, professional growth opportunities, performance reviews, coaching, and recognition programs
- Hire, interview, and onboard new team members to support departmental needs
