Amrize is seeking a Director of Partnerships & Learning to be a key player in expanding our advanced building solutions. This role is responsible for identifying and managing strategic relationships with specifiers from architecture, engineering, and construction, as well as creating and distributing learning content to drive product specification and cross-selling.
What You'll Do
- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with strategic specifiers, including architects, engineers, general contractors, and city mayors.
- Create and distribute learning content to drive specification and cross-selling of Amrize solutions (1-2 monthly).
- Build the learning and knowledge-sharing competency within the strategic partnerships team.
- Provide accredited learning opportunities and develop Amrize's learning academy for architects, urban planners, and specifiers, including online and face-to-face modules with AIA certification.
- Build engagement programs like Expert Talks & Podcasts, Learning Exchanges, University lectures, Awards & scholarships, and a Building Technology Summit.
- Lead and execute strategic programs to engage with leading architects, engineers, developers, and urban planners.
- Partner with Innovation and R&D to develop advanced building solutions meeting architects' needs in line with LEED, Energy Star, and other certifications.
- Contribute to market intelligence and CRM systems to share business and customer leads.
- Contribute to developing and positioning Amrize's integrated value proposition to accelerate cross-selling.
- Personally lead key outreach and engagement with architects, engineers, academic leaders, and federal, state, provincial, and city leaders.
- Identify new partnership opportunities (5-10 annually) and successfully manage existing partnerships.
- Schedule business exchange meetings to establish relationships between Amrize and other businesses (1-2 monthly).
- Follow up on all business relationships and coordinate with the Communications team to publish media releases.
- Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience and a strong track record of success in a fast-paced environment focused on the building industry.
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft productivity software.
- Ability to travel overnight domestically and internationally up to 50%.
- Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including being clean shaven for respirator fit tests.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree.
- Architecture, engineering, and construction educational backgrounds.
- LEED AP credential.
