About the role: The Director, Demand Generation for North America, will spearhead strategic initiatives and implementation of demand generation programs targeting new lead acquisition, logo expansion, and enhanced conversion rates across initial funnel stages. This leadership role will craft and execute integrated campaigns designed to elevate engagement, optimize lead quality, and accelerate pipeline development for LRN's solutions in the North American market. Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Agency Partners, and Regional Marketing Directors, the Director will construct scalable, data-driven programs that deliver measurable growth. Additionally, the role involves closely guiding Sales Development Representative resources to ensure seamless coordination between marketing and inbound/outbound efforts, maximizing conversion efficiency. What you'll do: - Conceptualize and manage North America's demand generation strategy, emphasizing new business acquisition and top-of-funnel conversion rate enhancement. Oversee multi-channel budgeting. - Orchestrate comprehensive, multi-channel campaigns spanning digital platforms, paid media, content syndication, email, webinars, PR, and events to generate and nurture qualified leads. - Synchronize with Sales and Revenue Operations to define target segments, lead objectives, and conversion metrics, ensuring comprehensive funnel accountability. - Engage with Marketing Operations and Agency Partners to produce high-impact assets driving engagement and response. - Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop compelling, persona-driven campaigns aligned with vertical priorities and regional goals. - Mentor and guide SDRs to improve lead follow-up, qualification consistency, and MQL to SQL conversion rates. - Partner with Marketing and Revenue Operations to analyze funnel performance, identify bottlenecks, and develop conversion efficiency strategies. - Establish lead handoff processes, feedback mechanisms, and performance tracking between marketing and SDR teams. - Provide insights and enablement resources to maximize SDR response rates and meeting bookings. - Supervise campaign planning, execution, and optimization across North America. - Conduct A/B testing, message refinement, and channel performance analysis to continuously improve acquisition and conversion outcomes. - Monitor critical funnel metrics—impressions, CTR, MQL→SQL rate, SQL→Opportunity rate—and generate actionable recommendations. - Regularly report performance and ROI, driving continuous improvement initiatives. - Collaborate with Regional Marketing Directors, Revenue Operations, Sales, and Agency Partners to ensure strategic alignment and knowledge sharing. - Disseminate best practices across the global marketing organization to elevate campaign effectiveness. What we're looking for: - 8–10 years of B2B demand generation or growth marketing experience, including 3+ years leading regional programs. - Demonstrated success optimizing top-of-funnel performance metrics in B2B environments. - Experience collaborating with and guiding BDR or SDR teams to improve conversion efficiency. - Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms. - Comprehensive understanding of ABM, paid media, SEO/SEM, and content-driven demand generation. - Experience managing agency partners and cross-regional stakeholders. - Analytical, data-driven approach with strong ROI optimization and funnel diagnostic skills. - Commitment to continuous improvement through insights, testing, and innovative strategies. - Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities. - Background in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or technology industries. - Strong familiarity with North American enterprise buyer journeys. - Experience in global marketing organizations collaborating with regional counterparts.
